You hit a paid effect. Pick a plan below to unlock and the rest of the library.
No. LOOM runs in your browser. Open an effect in Chrome or Edge, grant camera access once, then capture the window in OBS / Streamlabs / Twitch Studio. There's no installer, no plugin, no extension.
If your operating system sees your webcam, LOOM sees it. Hand tracking runs on MediaPipe and degrades to single-hand mode on slower laptops automatically. Tested on 2018-era hardware and up.
Different category. Filters do beautification, face swaps, or static stickers. LOOM ships generative scenes — the visuals are computed live and react to your hand pose every frame. We don't touch your face; we give you a stage to perform with.
By design, no. Each effect commits to one palette and one strong idea. Studio plan adds custom palette overrides for licensing/agency work; Creator plan keeps things curated.
A new effect appears in the library at 17:00 UTC. It's announced on Discord with a video preview. Studio subscribers get it ~1 hour before Creator. Older effects remain available — nothing is deprecated.
Not yet. The intent is to open-source the engine after the 12-week initial run, while keeping the effect library subscription-only. Discord members will see the timeline first.
No. LOOM is fully client-side. Your camera feed never leaves your machine. We don't run a backend in the demo phase, and we don't intend to send video frames anywhere when we add accounts.
Cancel anytime from your account → Manage subscription. Access stays live through the end of the current billing cycle, then auto-downgrades to the free tier (Cat's Cradle). All sales final — no refunds — but you keep what you already used.
